Josh Grant graduated from the Physician Assistant program at the University of Washington's Medical School (MEDEX NW) in 2012. Josh brings an extensive background in sports medicine to our pratice, and prior to becoming a PA, worked as a Certified Athletic Trainer with athletes of all levels including high school, collegiate, and semi-professional athletes in both Southern California and Washington.
Josh specializes in treating disorders of the spine, as well as general orthopedics. He assists in surgery, provides hospital care for inpatients, and has a full clinic schedule. He sees the whole spectrum of patients in clinic including new evaluations, follow-up visits, and pre-op or post-op visits. Josh loves the Pacific Northwest and the Seattle area, and enjoys sports, going to Mariners games, the outdoors, eating great food at local restaurants, hearing good music, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
I believe that inviting patients to participate in their medical care is crucial to successful treatment of any medical condition. Having surgery, let alone spine surgery, can be a daunting experience and my goal is to help patients feel as comfortable as possible, make sure their concerns and questions are heard and answered, and do my best to ensure they are receiving excellent care. A mentor once told me, "You never regret going the extra mile for your patients; only when you could have, and did not." I really believe this is true.
